So, we’re obviously a new site. It’s hard to find a place for yourself these days on the internet because it seems as though everything has been done already; however, not GotJammed! There are a million fmylife or failblog type sites out there, but do they give you any prizes? Do they cater to gamers? Nope! That’s why GotJammed is here. We want to give you free prizes for having a good gaming story. Xbox game time codes, video games, controllers, consoles, all that cool stuff will be given out throughout the coming months… what does GotJammed want from you to qualify? Your funny gamer stories. Surprisingly, no one. Video games are a HUGE part of our lives.. at least, my life and the lives of those I keep in contact with. Welcome to GotJammed.com‘s JamBlog- the official blog of GotJammed.com. You might be asking yourself, “wtf is this ‘jam’ business?”. First off, go check out the About JamBlog section to see a little info. “Jamming”, as we put it, is basically owning another player. Whether it’s knifing them in the head, shooting them through 5 walls on accident, ninja looting a rival guild, or just plain old PKing them, you’ve accomplished a jam, or “jamming someone up”, shortened to “jammed ‘em up”. Why is it so satisfying to grief other players online? Who knows, who cares; the point is, it’s fun as hell.

To get things started, I’ll share a story of how my buddy Chris jammed up another dude on Modern Warfare 2 the other day.

We were playing hardcore team deathmatch on the Highrise level.. pretty basic but fun level, two large office buildings opposite each other with a rooftop to run between the two.  Chris was sitting back in our spawn area sniping for the first few minutes of the level. Anyways, he decides to venture outside, so he runs to another room where there was a glass window in his way, so, naturally he runs up to it to knife and break it. Right when he knifes the window open, a dude runs and jumps towards the glass, INTO his knife instantly killing himself. That, folks, is a good ol classic jamming. I bet that dude was pissed.. nothing like jumping face first into someone’s knife, through a pane of glass.
