“Unofficial reports” from GameStop said we could expect God of War 3 on March 16 US release for the PS3 exclusive. Today, the PlayStation blog confirmed that God of War 3 will officially come out on March 16! Should be a freakin’ awesome game if it lives up to it’s franchise.

There will also be a “God of War III Ultimate Edition” same day (March 16th) for anyone willing to pay a whopping $99.99. We can also expect to see new trailer on Feb. 11th on GameTrailers TV.

You can also pick up the God of War Collection pack to keep you held over until March (or until you scrap together the cash to pick up the Ultimate Edition)!
